Black Forest cake


Black Forest Cake

Ingredients
For Cake 
All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 1/2 cup (50 gms)
Cocoa Powder - 1/2 cup (50 gms)
Powdered Sugar - 1 cup
Butter - 1 cup (100 gms)
Eggs - 6
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
 
For Frosting
Heavy Whipping Cream (Double Cream) - 1 pint
Sugar - as needed
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Cherries - 1 can
Chocolate Bar - 1 (grated/shaved)
Chocolate Rice - as needed
 
For syrup
Water/ Syrup from cherry can - 1 cup
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp

Method
For the cake
1. Sieve together the all purpose flour (maida) and cocoa powder into a bowl.
2. Melt the butter in the microwave.
3. Beat the eggs in a bowl using a hand blender until it becomes very creamy and frothy.
4. Mix together all the wet ingredients (melted butter, sugar, vanilla essence) along with the beaten eggs.
5. Finally fold in the dry ingredients (flour + cocoa) with the wet ingredients.
6. Mix everything nicely with a wooden spoon until you get a smooth batter.
7. Grease a cake pan with butter and dust some flour and cocoa powder on it and keep it ready.
8. Pour the cake batter into the pan and bake it in a oven preheated to 350 degree F (180 C) for ablut 40-45 minutes.
9. Check if the cake is done by inserting a toothpick in the middle of the cake. It should come out clean.
10.Switch off the oven and cool the cake before applying the syrup and frosting.
 
For the syrup
1. Pour the cherry syrup/plain water into a small sauce pan.
2. Add the sugar to it and bring it to a boil.
3. Finally add the vanilla essence to the syrup and keep aside.
(Traditionally a tblsp of rum is added to the sugar syrup.)
 
For the frosting
1. Beat the whipping cream with enough sugar and vanilla essence until a nice fluffy frosting is ready.
(You could also use frozen whipped cream.)
 
Final cake assembling
1. Cut the top to make it flat before applying the frosting.
2. Cut the cake laterally into 3 equal circles. 
3. Take all the 3 pieces and pierce it with a fork at random places. This will help the syrup to penetrate into the cake.
4. Add few spoonfuls of the syrup on each cake piece and let the cake absorb it. This step is very very important to make the cake moist and delicious.
5. Take a cake stand or serving dish and place one piece of cake.
6. Apply a generous amount of frosting and top it with chopped cherries, choclate shavings and chocolate rice.
7. Place the second piece of cake on top and apply the frosting and toppings.
8. Top it with the 3rd slice of cake.
9. Apple the remaining frosting on top of the cake and on all the sides.
10. Sprinkle chocolate shavings (grated chocolate bar) and chocolate rice on top and all around the cake.
11. Top the cake with cherries. Yummy black forest cake is ready.

Cashew barfi

Ingredients 
Cashew -1 cup ( make a fine powder using mixie ) 
Sugar -1/2 cup 
Water -4 to 5 spoon 
Milk 1 spoon
Method 
Put sugar and water to kadai ,let  sugar melts , after sugar melts let it boil 3 min . more. Then add cashew powder and mix continously till it forms dough ( keep sim very low)when mixture is ready off the gas . Let it cool to room temperature . When it cools roll like chapathi and cut it to any desired shape .

Chicken methi chilly

Chicken methi chilly 

Ingredients
Chicken
Finely chopped ginger
Finely chopped garlic
Butter-2 spoon
Oil
Ginger -garlic paste -1 spoon
Onion-2
Tomato -1
Finely chopped curry leaves
Kasuri methi 2 spoon
Soya sause 1 spoon
Green chilly sause -1 spoon
Red chilly powder -1 spoon
Green chilly long sliced -5
Coriender leaf
Coriender powder -1 spoon
Garam masala powder 1/2 spoon
Pepper powder 1/4 spoon

Method
Put oil to kadai and add butter when it is hot add ginger , garlic cook 1 min then add green chilly , onion , ginger garlic paste cook till onion becomes golden , add chicken mix well then add tomato , and add red chilly powder, coriender powder, garam masala powder, pepper powder , salt , haldi cook till chicken 3/4 cooked then add kasuri methi, curry leaves , half coriender leaf and mix well cook till chicken is fully cooked , then add green chilly sause and soya sause cook 5 min then off flame . Garnish wid coriender leaf .

Badam barfi

Badam barfi
1)1 cup badam soaked in hot water 30 min 
2)1 cup milk 
3)Sugar-1/2 cup 
4)Ghee- 3 to 4 spoon 
5)1 Drop rose essence 
Method 
Grind badam milk and sugar , take a pan add ghee then add badam mix , rose essence mix nicely till dough then pour to greased plate and roll then cut and let it cool then store

Beetroot halwa

Ingredients 
Beetroot -3 to 4(peeled and grated ) 
Sugar -1/2 cup( according to ur taste )
Ghee -1/4 cup( or little less )
Cardamon powder -1/4 spoon
Milk -1/2 cup 
Dry fruits 
Method 
Fry beetroot with ghee till raw smell goes ( 6 to 7 min ).add sugar , Cardamon powder ,milk and let it cook till beetroot cooks nicely & starts living pan . Once done add dry fruits and off the gas.

Diwali special 
Ingredients :
Maida -2 cup
Ghee -1/4 cup 
Sugar -1 cup 
Coconut -1/2 cup 
Dry fruits -( raisins , cashews, pista, almonds)
Cardamon powder -1/4 spoon
Cocoa  powder -1 spoon 
Rawa -2 spoon 
Fig-3to 4

Method
Knead a dough using maida ,pinch salt , ghee,and water . Dough should b soft like chapathi . Keep it aside for 30 min 
For filling 
Fry rava in ghee  for 3 min , to same pan add coconut and fry for 3 min , now mix rava, coconut , dry fruits , figs ,cocoa powder , sugar powder , Cardamon powder . 
Now roll dough like puri and fill the fillings and fold it and deep fry till golden fry .

Chocolate cup cakes

Ingredients
For Cake 
All Purpose Flour (Maida) - 1/4cup 
Cocoa Powder - 1/4cup 
Powdered Sugar - 1/2 cup
Butter - 1/2 cup (50 gms)

Vanilla Essence - 1 tsp
Baking powder -1/4 spoon 
Baking soda little less then baking powder 
Nutrella (optional )
Method 

For the cake
1. Sieve together the all purpose flour (maida) and cocoa powder ,baking powder , baking soda in  a bowl.
2. Melt the butter in the microwave .
3. Beat the eggs in a bowl using a hand blender until it becomes very creamy and frothy.
4. Mix together all the wet ingredients (melted butter, sugar, vanilla essence) along with the beaten eggs.
5. Finally fold in the dry ingredients (flour + cocoa) with the wet ingredients.
6. Mix everything nicely with a wooden spoon until you get a smooth batter.
7. Grease a cup cake mould with butter and dust some flour and cocoa powder on it and keep it ready.
8. Pour the cake batter into the cup cake mould and bake it in a oven preheated to 350 degree F (180 C) for about 10 minutes.( it's better to check after 5 min sometime it takes less time to bake )
9. Check if the cake is done by inserting a toothpick in the middle of the cake. It should come out clean.
10.Switch off the oven and cool the cake before applying the syrup and frosting.
Once it cools down apply nuterella at top and some cherries or chocolate chips
